Y’a pas de problème, Hotel Mopti
I went twice to Mopti, once, on my way to Hombori direction Gao, and the second time when coming back from Timbuktu via Douentza.
Mopti is a nice town, followed by the Niger River where you can enjoy the boats and the cattle along the river bank and all the people carring goods and all sorts of merchandise.
Coming out of the bus from Bamako, and on the river bank, i took the road to the right direction “Gouvernaurat” on foot already night time, and after around 20 minutes (after 500m on the road theres a small hotel sign) and asking 3 times for directions I finally found the hotel “Y’a pas de problème” which in English means “There’s no problem”.
This is a nice and interesting hotel, looks much like a regular building from the outside, but on the inside there a bit of all type of facilities and staff are very nice people.
There’s a very nice swimming pool and a restaurant on the terrace. Also, in terms of accommodation, you have dorm rooms, single, double and family rooms. I paid around 8 Euros for a bed in a dorm room.
