Point G Hill, Bamako

This is one of the best things I found in Bamako. Point G is a plateau on top of a hill facing Bamako, named by the French colonizer Point G, right in front of the Mali National Museum.

There’s some sort of ethnic park inside the fenced complex but you can easily climb up on the opposite part of the museum, or, just go inside from the front gate.

You can sight an amazing panorama bird view over Bamako, something really nice to just stay and relax reading a book.

I went inside on the garden gate in front of the museum, and, went climbing down the hill on the other side. I end up on the road.

This hill is the location of the old military hospital of the Point G, built between 1906 and 1913.
